It’s an unusual route into the business, but Riccardo first came to RRI as a client at the Royal Exchange Square salon (in his own words “back when I still had hair”). He fell in love with the craft of hairdressing and the RRI ethos, and set about training under our founder Alan. That was 25 years ago. He was the first RRI Assistant to become a Salon Director, and his commitment has never waned – you’ll still find him in the salon seven days a week. One of our most experienced hairdressers, Riccardo works on all types of hair. Cutting, styling, colouring – he makes a masterpiece of everything he does. When he’s not in the salon, he might be off styling at high-profile events like T in the Park, or off riding his beloved Ducati motorbike.

With 30 years experience 20 with RRI, Jackie is one of the company’s most award-winning stylists at the salon director level.  Jackie is a specialist with extensions trained at the highest level with Barclay wolf taped extensions and great lengths bonded extensions. Having been a great length hall of fame winner twice, Jackie also has her Schwarzkopf master colour degree and is an expert at keratin smoothing treatments. Having picked up total excellence and the fantastic hairdresser awards at the RRI congress, Jackie’s love for hair is backed up with her passion for art and painting which helps her create and tailor individual looks for her clients. She has continuously developed her expertise for cutting, colouring and extension work and has become an influential member of Rainbow Room International. We are delighted to have her as part of the team at Rainbow Room International Ayr.

Rachel believes the key to creating amazing hair lies in building a genuine bond with clients from day one. We couldn’t agree more. With that level of service, Rachel’s able to turn any hair idea into a reality – be it a hair-up, colour correction or edgy gent’s cut. A true ‘designer’, Rachel has a uniquely wild yet polished style of her own, which is reflected in everything she does.

Izabela moved to Scotland in 2010 after completing hairdressing at college in Poland. Furthering her training in Scotland has brought her to work in the top salons in the country and here at RRI, Izabela has become exceptionally knowledgeable as a master colour expert.

Izabela will pull on all her experience and training to explore the best options when bringing your hair goals to life. She particularly enjoys working with curly hair and using freehand balayage techniques with clay bleach to achieve that ‘lived in’ surfer blonde look.

Whatever your style and taste may be, Izabela will make sure your hair is the most beautiful it can be.

Hairdressing is my passion and I've been in the industry for over 30 years. I always feel fulfilled with my contribution to my chosen field. I have a positive attitude and feel anything is possible when you put your mind, heart, and talent into all things. Guido has been the face of our salon for ten years, and we’d be lost without him. He makes it his job to ensure every client’s experience more than lives up to their expectation, while at the same time keeping the salon running smoothly and looking perfect. 

Milly joined the team in 2011, and originally trained to become a stylist. Before long, she realised her real passion lay in building rapport with clients and helping to run the salon.  Milly gives every client a warm welcome, so come in and say hello – she’ll be more than happy to help.  

Kat joined the team in 2021, bringing with her an extensive history in Front of House and Administration work. As well as being one of the first welcoming faces clients meet at the door, she is invaluable in keeping the cogs of the salon machine running smoothly. Kat's organised capability is matched by her warm personality, she is always ready with a friendly smile and helpful information for all clients, whether in person or on the phone.
